June 20-2009,
We welcome you with a present.

Dear player, as we need some fresh new players to our server we have now added all new characters a free 100% mount to mount list (SHIFT+P). It can be used at any level, but if that isn't enough we also increased the exp rate for this new created characters!! The equip vendors also dubbled their force and can now be found near each teleporter.

We have many more options to add to the game which will be seen in the near future!

SearingZone switch client support 3.1.3!!!

Dear player, we just upgraded our realm with the support of 3.1.3. From now on you will need this version to connect to searingzone. You dont know how to upgrade your version to the new 3.1.3 client? then follow this few simple steps.

Lazy bosses? NO ANYMORE Obsidian Sanctum will fight back!

Dear player, we got Obsidian Sanctum scripted. The bosses inside will now use their spells to fight back. Some simple tactics can be found on wowwiki or any other Boss Strategie website. Enjoy this movie with some great Obsidian Sanctum shots.

Done with your raid? now COOLDOWN and have a break!

Hey you there! We just upgraded the server with a "new" feature. Well to be honest this has been there before back in the old days. Instance cooldowns are back! we did not "yet" re-added the instance system we had back in the days but this is our first step to prevent raid farming and boredom after that. For now all raid instances have 24hours cooldown, normal and none raid heroics shouldn't be effected by this.

Are we recruiting you as our new webmaster? Apply now!

SearingZone is recruiting, we are looking for people to bring additional content to the site such as news images and anything related to it's design. We expect you to know and how to use php & html.

How to join? well this is easy! just send me a forum pm with samples of your work and the reason why you would be the one working for us.

As for now this is a unpaid position, this could be changed upon the work and time you dealing with this.

Small Update and new rates.

We just upgraded the SearingUlduar to the latest game version 3.1.1
You can now download the update from our download page.

We also Changed SearingFury's Exp Rate, which will be 7x Kill Exp and 9x Quest Exp. We will test with this new rates for the comming 3weeks atleast.

Some issues during the upgrade explained.

During some unexpected issues with the new "World of Warcraft" 3.1.0 Secrets of Ulduar patch we sadly wont be able to uprade the old characters yet! Therefore there will be a "New" server running with this new patch for the people that already updated their game.

Upgraded your game? want to downgrade back to the 3.0.9. follow this simple guide.

New Updates & advertisements!

Another round of updates have been added to the server, if you are interested in the update notes you are free to check them at the forums! you should create a forum account to post the bugs you found.

Are you owner of a website? want to exhange banners? then its your chance to do this. On the right hand site you will be able to place your website banner/link. Its simple, click the contact button send us a banner 300x250 pixels. We place your banner and you will place a banner/link back to us on your website.

New heroic mode instances now availible!

With more heroic mode raiding instances available, we getting closer and closer to a fully working Northrend World of Warcraft server. The next heroic mode raid instance to be opened would be either "Naxxramas", or "The Eye of Eternity".

We also keep the updates and fixes coming! To see the complete list of fixes we made on a weekly base check out the update notes.

And as last we request you to tell us what you would like to see improved? added? or maybe a whole new server experience. Post your thoughts on the suggestion board.

New heroic mode instances now availible!

As we announced yesterday "The Obsidian Sanctum" heroic mode is now available.
This is the first heroic raid instance we have opened on SearingZone, but definitely wont be the last one. As you can see we started supporting the smaller raid instances this is because it will take alot of work to get Naxxramas done.

We are still working hard to bring them live as fast as we can, but we will also make sure they will be enjoyable.

And as you might have seen yesterday the "Get Paid For Playing" program this was a 1 April joke! With a new month and our second anniversary coming up you can now support us with a donate. We have cleaned up the donation rewards which can be found here.

We also planning to make a PvP-Arena tournament you will definitely hear more about this soon.
